Sorry for sounding like a broken record, but as you probably already know this is my favourite time of year. Cosy jumpers, scarfs, coats & jewel tones are everything to me & September is the start of the season I love the most!
So, as my Spring Wardrobe staples & Summer Wardrobe staples were loved by everyone, I thought that I should make sure I don’t miss my favourite time of year for fashion!
Without rambling away too much about leaves, hot cider and cinnamon, here are my Autumn Wardrobe staples! I have included all the links to recent purchases & tried to find dupes for this I’ve had a while. Happy Autumn & happy shopping!
Sheep skin / Teddy coat
I kept my nans faux sheepskin coat and I’m so glad I did. It is the perfect coat for Autumn and keeps you super toasty. While sheepskin coats will (hopefully) never really go out of fashion, this years ‘dupe’ would definitely be the Teddy Bear coat. Similar to a sheep skin coat, but a lot softer. Next currently have one of the best I’ve seen on the high street. Grab yours HERE.
Slim Check Ankle Grazers
I’m not going to lie, I wear these all year round. But in Autumn, with a cosy Jumper, check trousers look smart yet cosy. They can be styled with t-shirts & jumpers and are a great way to look a little smarter. While they aren’t know for having the most stylish clothes, Marks & Spencers always have the best range of these pants! A lot of them are also elastic wasted, so they are super comfy! Have a look at their A/W 18 range HERE.
If you was to ask my boyfriend, what fills 80% of my wardrobe, his response would definitely be Jumpers. Slogan, crew neck jumpers are my favourite item for Autumn. They are simple, easy and can be styled up with a smart coat.
Most of mine are from Topshop & Tee & Cake Clothing. Have a look at their new range HERE.
Although cotton sweatshirts are usually my fave thing to wear at this time of year. Knitwear jumpers are a close second. I have way more than I need, but whats better on a cold autumn day, than jeans and a cosy knitted jumper? I tend to grab mine from numerous high street stores or ASOS, but one place that always has on trend, affordable knitwear is F&F Clothing at Tesco! I recently bought the below jumper from Tesco & I love it. Although you can only buy in store, here’s a little look at what they have on offer for A/W 18 (F&F HERE)
A long line coat can make a simple jeans and t-shirt outfit, look completely different. It can smarten up most clothing and are now there are great high street options! I bought my camel coloured coat from Primark a couple of years ago & I have loved it ever since!
I recently bought collared check version from New Look and would have to say that they have the best / affordable range of longline coats and blazers for 2018. Have a look HERE.
A Statement Piece
This year I bagged myself a statement accessory from Topshop and I’m so glad I did. I usually pick bags that are simple & plain so that they can go with everything. This year I picked their bright orange circle handbag to be my pop of colour in A/W and it is my favourite item if this season. Have a look HERE to find a statement piece for yourself!
