Well, what a month July has been! We have had some amazing weather, the world cup got everyone emotional and .. we are now getting so close to Autumn!
This month has been a rough one for me skincare wise. Most of the UK spent time sunbathing and got a healthy glow and lots of people have been loving their skin being clearer and tanned. Not mine. My skin went crazy after I used sunscreen and I have been battling acne all month! Despite this little annoyance, there were lots of things that I have loved this month. So, here are my favourites from July!
Face Mask – One thing which has helped reduce oil and cleanse my skin during this heatwave, is the Your Good Skin clay mask. I have been using this for a while and it has really helped my fight the excess of oil on my skin this past month. Have a look at my recent post, if you want to know more about it! Your Good Skin
Zara Candle – Last month my boyfriend and I bought a new candle for our living room from Zara & it has to be one of my favourite purchases this year so far! Its the Nordic Leather scent and it is gorgeous. It burns really slow and the scent is really strong, it completely fills the room and lasts even after its blown out!
Soya latte milk – I have always loved an iced latte and over the past couple of months I have been loving this new soya milk mix! It is delicious, not too sweet and its perfect replacement for your morning coffee when its boiling hot outside! They come in full milk carton size, or single portion sizes too!
Sunflowers – This month I have filled my flat with sunflowers and they have looked amazing in the sunshine! They are loads cheaper than the usual flowers, last for a couple of weeks & look stunning. Just need to remember to refill your vase as they drink a lot of water!
Tiger Feeding – My favourite thing this month has to be our trip to Paradise Wildlife Park! For Christmas last year, I bought my boyfriend an experience day, to feed a big cat and this month he finally got to do it! PW Park are leaders renown for their work helping endangered bit cats and the cost of the experience goes toward the care and conservation of them. If you need a gift idea for an animal lover or the person who has everything, then I’d definitely recommend this! Big Cat Experience
