Top 3 MCR coffee spots!

A good cup of coffee isn’t as easy to find as you would think. Around the city centre there are 1000’s of places which offer a coffee. But if your a coffee connoisseur or just appreciate great coffee, then there are a few spots around the city who really know how to make a decent brew. Here are my 3 favourite spots!

Tak – Oxford Road

Hatch is one of the latest developments on  Oxford Road & Tak is somewhere you can get a real cup of coffee! You can choose your beans, strength & style.

Although I’m not quite refined enough to drink espresso or black coffee, they make a decent soya latte! The interior is stripped back & you can even buy some proper coffee making essentials too.

Siop Shop – Tib Street

This lovely little cafe, tucked away in the Northern Quarter, not only has some of the best doughnuts & sandwiches you will find, they also make real coffee.

This place is the perfect spot to enjoy a decent coffee, a cheeky doughnut & a good book. I’d pick this over Costa or Starbucks any day.

Pot Kettle Black – Barton Arcade

You will find this spot hidden in-between St Annes Square & Deansgate. They take their coffee seriously & you can definitely taste it.

Not only is their coffee strong & delicious, they have a stunning space, which encourages people to come inside, eat, drink & relax.

Happy relaxing/caffeine hunting! x

  1. Oooh, I love coffee. I am a black coffee and espresso drinkin’ kinda gal! All of these cafes are so incredibly beautiful. I see why they made your top 3! I’d love to visit each and every one of ’em someday! 😀
