Ezra & Gil – A Review

The food spots around Manchester, as you might already know from all the foodie posts on Daisy Grey, are amazing. As a city we have an abundance of independent & unique businesses who provide the city with amazing food everyday.

There is one place, that it is almost impossible to not know about. That place is Ezra & Gil.

The Instagram accounts of almost every Manchester food, fashion & lifestyle blogger have plenty of pictures of its lovely interior & stunning plates of food.

So I decided, it was about time I tried it out for myself. After a failed attempt of trying it for Saturday brunch (the place gets full very quickly on the weekend) I was in town on random Thursday & decided I would try my luck. Although it was still pretty full, there was one window seat left & I grabbed the opportunity.

After seeing their feta, avocado, egg & chilli smash all over social media over the past few months, I knew that was exactly what I wanted. Thankfully it did not disappoint!

Not only is their food delicious & coffee fresh, they also have a collection of freshly baked cakes.

Whilst waiting on your delicious breakfast, you can even grab yourself a locally made Ezra & Gil soy candle, coffee grounds or locally pressed juices from their produce range.

After you spend 20 minutes in Ezra, you will notice that it is a very creative space. Many people who come here are there to work or meet in a typically Mancunian space.

So if you fancy planning a trip for yourself, you are best heading there on a weekday or (very) early on a weekend! To see all of the stunning things they have on offer, have a look at #ezraandgil on Instagram.
