The British winter is in full force & there are still a few months left of cold & rainy weather. Especially up North. Over the past couple of months I have found my ‘go-to’ winter outfit, that is perfect for nipping to Tesco or brunching in the Northern Quarter.
Over the last 12 months, I have been taking a lot of my outfit inspiration from Pinterest. One of my favourite searches is Korean Fashion. Its always simple, androgynous, laid back & smart. (have a look for yourself!) These pinterest boards are why I bought this coat & a classic pair of Mom jeans. They are staples of Korean style. These jeans were a bargain in the Topshop sale, but they still have loads of great alternatives! (Topshop Mom jeans)
Believe it or not, this lovely little coat is from Primark! They don’t have online shopping, but here’s one from Boohoo which is a great alternative. The boots are perfect for winter, smart yet relaxed. I’ve wanted some for a while & these are an absolute bargain from H&M.
Next staple for any winter wardrobe is some good knitwear! My favourite jumper for this season has to be my H&M star jumper. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find this one online (they may still have some in the shops) but there are some great alternatives from Shein & Superdry.
And of course, the final thing that every northerner (especially Mancunians) need through winter, is a bloody good brolly!
