December Favourites

Although I don’t really want to admit it, December is over & it’s already time to round up the last few weeks! This is one of those months, where I could literally list about 20 different things I’ve loved over the past few weeks. But I’ve tried my best, to pick all the things that will still be great for January. That way, you could still try them for yourself! Hopefully they might make your January just a little more bearable!

Dark – Netflix

Throughout December, my boyfriend and I became obsessed with the new Netflix series, Dark.

This is a German show, so you either need to watch with subtitles or there is an option to watch it dubbed with American. (It’s so much better with the subtitles) Think Stranger Things with even more mystery. There’s something about it being in another language which makes it even more tense & mysterious. Each episode will keep you hooked & as you get to understand the characters, you will be obsessed!

To get you through the nights, now the tree has been packed away, let yourself binge watch this amazing show.

Ok, I know the festivities are all over but I am trying to keep a little glitter. This Maybelline polish has been my go -to throughout December. It’s cool, copper/gold tone is both glitzy & subtle. It dries quickly & for how lovely it looks it’s a bargain at £3.99.

Anna of the North

I have been loving this album for a couple of months now & I realised that it probably is the one thing I’ve listened to the most in December, apart from my Now Christmas album, of course. Her music is perfect for anyone who loves haim or London grammar. It’s relaxed but upbeat & every song on the album is as good as the last.

I listen to it in the mornings on my commute to work & it’s the perfect relaxing/catchy/feel good music to listen to while you carry on with your day.

H&M Boots

I searched throughout November for a black boot that was perfect with jeans & dresses. I wanted something that I could wear to both Tesco & The Grand Pacific without feeling over or underdressed. After trying every high street shop I could think of, I finally stumbled across these little lovelies in H&M.

They have been my go-to shoe over the holidays & they have dealt with the snow & many trips to the Manchester Markets really well!

Hope you had an amazing December too! I have lots of great posts on the way, places to eat on a budget & things to beat the January blues! x
