You might already know, from my previous beauty posts, I always try to keep my Beauty products as natural & chemical free as I can. Don’t get me wrong, I still love a good Garnier moisture bomb mask, but in general I always try to opt for the more natural products. So when I saw the Lucy Bee coconut oil beauty book, I decided to buy it & try making some products beauty products at home.
I’m the type of person who always says ‘ I want to do that’ and never actually gets round to doing it. But, as most of the recipes in this little book, have only a few core ingredients (coconut oil, Epsom/Himalayan salts, essential oils) meaning you can make a lot of different things, with adding other ingredients that most people have around the house.
I decided to first try making the Peppermint Foot scrub.
It may not be glamorous, but for someone like me who lives in Vans 90% of the year, it’s my favourite way to look after my feet & get them soft! This scrub was so simple to make & smelt amazing.
The peppermint oil made my feet feel really fresh & they were left feeling super soft! Quick tip: be careful when you use it, as the coconut oil can make the tub a bit slippy!
If your thinking of making some of your own beauty products at home. This little book is a good way to get started! Enjoy x
